Catch-Up Again!
Here's a few catch-up pictures from September and October. During September Tim, Jeff, Todd and even Steve (who kindly volunteered to go on a woodcutting expedition) made trips to the woods to cut and gather wood for the woodstoves this winter.
One beautiful Saturday Tim and I took the 4-wheeler up into the woods for a morning.
Todd and Amy's tree produced beautiful pears and the girls and I canned them one day.
Hunter is definitely enjoying this. Do you think Conrad is?
Two monkeys and a banana stopped by last night for Halloween

During October we took a trip to Arizona for Tim's dads funeral. The siblings enjoyed time together.

Vancouver Island!!!
Tim and I just got back from a relaxing week in Victoria, BC. Here's a snapshot of our vacation. This is Tim's Aunt Goldie, who was out in Washington visiting her relatives there.
The berries were late this year and Tim picked a bunch for a snack in our motel that evening.
I love the colors at the harbour - the reds and yellows in contrast with the blue water.
Here's a beautiful purple starfish that we saw in the water.
Although the roses were past their full prime, there was still lots and lots of flowers still in bloom.
A peacock's head looks pretty interesting close up.

A cute water taxi. We spent a lot of time sitting on the wharf watching people and boats.

And last, but not least, Mt. Ranier. Pictures absolutely do not do justice to its beauty.

Labor Day 2011
Our weekend was relaxing and the weather was perfect! Here's a few snaps.

Half of the fireworks that they bought for the fourth of July were saved and used this past weekend.
Tim took some great insect shots. Aren't these dragonfly's wings beautiful? We were noticing the red spots on the wing tips.
