Our Weekend On the Coast

We spent a 5 day weekend on the coast. The first night we stayed with our nephew Jason. Alas, no pictures. The next day I met Carissa at the Sewing Expo. Unfortunately, I didn't even take a picture on my phone! Boo. We then spent the weekend at Carissa and Bens. Here's a few photos. An interesting note is the snowy owls which have come to the coast there for the first time ever. Tim and Ben hiked out to the water to find them.






Last, but of course, not least is a picture of the pencil skirt we spent much of Saturday making for Carissa out of some Pendleton wool that she picked up at the Expo. We draped, fitted, and lined the skirt.

Valentines Day gifts. I guess they both tasted good!





I saw this idea online in several places. Blue masking tape to make roads. So simple and inexpensive. Hunter really loved it.







Tim and Hunter watched a PBS video on raccoons. So Hunter wanted to play raccoon and he was searching for garbage cans with no bungee cords on them! Cute! Here he is being a raccoon and hiding.

Yesterday was a school holiday and Hunter spent the day. Here is one of the things that we did.... We had a great time. Yes, Angry Birds.

A Special Visit

We had a visit from a special niece! Suzanne came to see us for a few days before going on to Oregon Special Meetings. Here she is just after arriving.

She got acquainted with Conrad, too!

We had a nice Sunday dinner with Tim and Megan, plus Harry Henninger. Jeff and Susie are in MN.

ANOTHER birthday - Surprise for Todd's 30th

Kellogg!!!!

Over Thanksgiving weekend Jeff, Susie, Hunter, Tim and I went to Kellogg, Idaho, to a condo for three days. Steve, Sandra, Todd, Amy and Conrad joined us on Friday. Here's a few pics.

When we got there Hunter laid out his pajamas out on the bed right between Grandma and Grandpa. He thought that would be a perfect place to sleep! I guess if you click on the pictures they will get bigger.



We all spent a lot of time in the indoor water park. The lazy river was fun.



The condo was large and comfy. The main room where Jeff and Susie stayed was one bedroom with the couch making into a bed. Our smaller studio was attached. On Thanksgiving day there was a marathon of Tom and Jerry cartoons - the WHOLE DAY.


The first morning Susie made her special oatmeal pancakes for us.







This is our little Thanksgiving dinner that Susie and I combined to make. It's not the best picture but you can see we had lots of food.





Conrad wasn't 100% sure about the water - his first exposure except for baths.
