Hunter's 4th Birthday

Here's some pictures of Hunter's 4th birthday and the fun we had helping him celebrate. The second picture is Jeff on his 4th birthday. He got a fishing pole and had fun reeling various people in, including Uncle Todd.

Hunter Rides A Bike!

Can you believe this little guy, who is not quite 4 years old, is riding a bike with no training wheels? Wow!

My Mother's Day Flowers

Tim came home today with two gorgeously huge hanging baskets of flowers for me for Mother's Day. They are simply beautiful and I am usually too cheap to invest in flowers this nice, instead planting a few little puny flowers which take half the summer to develop into anything much. So I am very tickled to get these.

Baby Lamb

I finally finished this baby lamb. I say baby lamb because he is a little wobbly standing up. This isn't the best picture, either, but you get the idea. Fun and easy to make, it just took me awhile since I didn't keep at it.

Some miscellaneous weekend pictures

I hit it lucky at a garage sale this weekend and got all this Thomas the Train track and miscellaneous stuff to go with it. He has really enjoyed it. I also got a Leap Frog device with five different books to go with it.

The other picture is a little bathroom remodel we have been doing - repainting and putting down a new floor. The shells we picked up down in San Luis at the ocean.

New Adirondack Chair

Tim has had a yen to make an Adirondack chair for a long time. His latest woodworking video had a pattern and a tutorial. Here's the result! It is super comfortable. It is for grandpa at his assisted living home. Grandpa has a patio right outside where he can enjoy the spring weather and watch the schoolkids at recess just a stone's throw away.

Box Fun

Is there anything more fun to a kid than a box? This is the box from our new washing machine. Hunter is here for "two weeks", he says, really two nights!

Lamb

Don't you just love this little guy? I noticed him right away while browsing on a blog and since Ben and Carissa have been taking care of a lamb, I decided I ought to make him. Now to find the yarn... You can find the pattern here.

Grandson post!!

On Saturday Grandpa and I took Hunter to the park for some fun! It was a bit chilly, but we kept warm for awhile. We need to make a longer tail for the kite. It keeps diving to the ground.

Funeral - Seattle

We went to the funeral of Tim's cousin who was 47 years old - died of a disease related to muscular distrophy. These are the three siblings that were there - Tim hadn't seen two of the three for 43 years! I had never seen them.

Gotta update the blog

I am looking every day at how long its been since I updated the blog. So I will post one picture, even though there are lots on Picasa. This is the Valentines party that Kirk and Sally Hill had. Some ladies could get into their wedding dresses.....

A Day Late....

This is a valentine that was given to mom by two of her students when she taught school in the early 30s. I try and remember to bring it out every Valentine's Day.
