Yesterday I made Peanut Butter Cookies. I'm having one right now with a cup of Market Spice Tea. Yum. I was pondering the thought that sometimes the old-fashioned recipes are just as good or better than some of the newer ones. I just dug out my old Betty Crocker cookbook and made up these cookies. I noticed in a cookbook the other day that you can make a dessert - a peanut butter cookie on the bottom, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup over the top.
Carissa has been making these bears for her nieces and nephews and knitting the clothes as well, so I just had to make one, too. He's 11 inches tall, and he now sits by my chair.
I'm a mom to four kids, three boys and one daughter and have two grandsons. I have a pretty special husband who loves to do woodworking and I spend time in my sewing room.
